The role of Valet at The Parking Spot is crucial to the company’s operations and customer experience. Valets serve as the frontline representatives, delivering personalized and professional services to guests by safely parking and retrieving their vehicles. This part-time weekend morning position, operating from 5 am to 1 pm, offers an hourly wage of $16 plus regular bonus opportunities, creating a rewarding compensation package. The Valet is responsible for greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage, processing valet tickets promptly, and maintaining the accurate inventory of vehicles and parking spaces. Beyond mere vehicle handling, the role demands attentiveness to guest needs, cooperation with team members, and adherence to safety standards. Valets may also cross-train for other frontline roles, demonstrating a pathway for professional growth and skill development. Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license at all times
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Can read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs
  • Previous valet, driver, attendant, or customer service experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous valet, driver, attendant, and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license is required at all times
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission
  • Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
  • Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds with or without an accommodation

Job Duties

  • Greet each customer in a friendly and professional manner, offering to assist with their luggage
  • Accurately and promptly process valet tickets
  • Operate, park, and retrieve guests’ vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform inventory of valet-parked vehicles and available spaces
  • Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
  • Report any damage to vehicles or property immediately
  • Assist with guest luggage as needed
  • May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management
