Job Requirements
- Maintain an excellent driving record
- meet STRC driver’s insurance requirements
- possess a valid vehicle operator’s license
- provide a current driving abstract from DMV at hire and as required
- demonstrate strong communication skills in English
- drive safely and obey traffic laws
- demonstrate good visual and auditory acuity
- have the ability to work in extreme temperatures
- be willing to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance
- able to multitask effectively
- able to tolerate areas with noise, smoke, and temperature variations
- ability to secure and maintain state or tribal gaming license
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- strong guest service and problem-solving skills
- possess and maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license
- previous hotel or casino valet experience preferred
- proven ability to safely operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions
- good visual and auditory acuity
- ability to drive in adverse weather
- ability to understand and provide verbal and written instructions
- strong interpersonal and guest service skills
- schedule flexibility for all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- tolerance for varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
Job Duties
- Practice, support, and maintain the mission, vision, and values of the casino
- approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with scheduling requirements
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and badge
- comply with casino safety and operational standards
- greet guests pleasantly
- maintain the safety of all guest vehicles driven
- assist in the efficient delivery of guest vehicles
- assist in securing all guest keys
- help direct and control traffic flow
- assist in arranging for guest transportation including ride share
- assist guests needing wheelchair transportation
- provide accurate and timely documentation and reports of department activities
- assist in maintaining cleanliness of all work sites
- assist in all dispatch duties promptly and efficiently
- answer guest questions regarding property, events, and promotions
- assist guests with valet retrieval process
- correctly and efficiently enter guest vehicle information in the computerized valet parking system
- place arrival tickets correctly
- monitor and document guest traffic flow in the valet lot
- assist in speedy service of guests exiting valet
- maintain list of local transportation guides and provide information and directions as needed
- obey all traffic laws on and off property
- assist in maintaining neat and clean curbside areas
- assist with unloading and loading of luggage
- assist in securing public spaces, guest corridors, and secured parking areas as applicable
