The role of Valet at ABM is a professional position focused on delivering courteous and compassionate guest services. This entry-level opportunity is well-suited for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, including veterans and those with limited experience or education. The Valet is responsible for coordinating traffic flow, clearly communicating valet procedures and directions to guests, and responding appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries. This position requires operating, parking, and retrieving vehicles safely by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies, and pedestrian regulations.
Valets also actively monitor and manage illegal parking, assist guests with loading and unloading, securely collect and store guest keys, and accurately handle payments and tip pools. Working conditions include outdoor environments in all weather conditions, necessitating resilience and the ability to maintain a clean work area. The pay for the Valet position is $23 per hour, with the exact offer varying based on experience, skills, geographic location, and market alignment.

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to operate both standard and automatic transmissions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is a plus

Job Duties
- Coordinate traffic flow
- Communicate valet procedure, information and directions clearly and effectively with guests
- Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries
- Monitor illegal parking and immediately store vehicles
- Interact with guests in a friendly manner
- Assist guests with loading and unloading
- Collect and secure guest keys
- Predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
- Identify and arrange for extra support for extended wait times
- Accurately tally and split the tip pool
- Receive and receipt a variety of valet payments
- Accurately reconcile and report daily revenue
- Project currency and coin requirements and reorder as necessary
- Operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies and applicable pedestrian regulations
- Work in an outdoor unprotected environment in all climates for extended periods of time
- Keep work area clean of debris
