The role of a Driveway Valet at Driveway.com is essential for ensuring an outstanding customer experience by managing the vehicle acquisition process from start to finish. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay ranging from $19.25 to $28.85, with an anticipated starting rate between $19.25 and $21.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The work schedule is five days a week with flexible hours, including weekends, designed to meet both operational needs and employee preferences.
As a Driveway Valet, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers purchasing or selling vehicles through the Driveway platform. Your responsibilities will include facilitating online vehicle acquisitions via the company’s advanced online portal, maintaining customer appointment calendars, and educating customers on the vehicle acquisition process to ensure clarity and satisfaction. You will contribute to the company’s marketplace operations by maintaining accurate reports and executing necessary paperwork with professionalism and attention to detail.
In addition to customer interactions, the role requires comprehensive vehicle inspections and the use of online valuation tools to assess and purchase vehicles fairly. You will collaborate closely with store leadership and team members to ensure smooth communication and effective problem resolution. The position demands a proactive approach to troubleshooting customer needs and guiding them throughout the acquisition process, ensuring a premium service experience.
Driveway Valets are supported by intensive training programs that equip them with up-to-date knowledge of all brand products and features, enhancing their ability to provide expert advice and service. Candidates are expected to obtain and maintain a notary commission as part of the job requirements, reinforcing the role’s responsibility in handling official vehicle acquisition documentation.
