The role on offer is for a full-time Valet position under the supervision of the MHS Manager or Lead Valet. The Valet is crucial in creating a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for all patients and visitors who enter the hospital. This position involves greeting guests with a friendly attitude, assisting them in various ways such as providing directions, helping with bags, and aiding with vehicle access, all while ensuring the utmost safety and professionalism. The Valet is responsible for safely driving, parking, and retrieving vehicles according to all traffic laws and hospital policies. This role requires attention to detail, especially when handling vehicle parking locations and ensuring accurate recording of valet ticket numbers. Valets also explain parking rates and processes to guests, handle vehicle damage assessments before parking, and promptly communicate any accidents or issues to supervisors. Moreover, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in the valet area is a key part of the job, as is upholding patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
