Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • no related work experience required
  • knowledge of sanitation procedures including basic concepts of food safety
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to walk or stand for extended periods, which may exceed 8 hours
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • willingness to perform assigned duties varying by client requirements

Job Duties

  • Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine
  • cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks
  • sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors
  • removes trash and garbage to designated areas
  • cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards
  • re-stocks supplies such as soap, paper towels and cleaning materials
  • assists with basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed
