The Utility Worker position at Wisconsin Lutheran College is a part-time role ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours with varying shifts, primarily during days and hours with a preference for open availability. As a Utility Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within food production and service areas. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes either by hand or using dishwashing machines, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food contact surfaces to ensure hygienic standards are met. You will be responsible for cleaning floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as removing trash and waste to designated disposal areas in line with safety protocols. Additionally, you will re-stock essential supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Physical demands are significant in this role, requiring mobility for extended periods, including walking or standing for shifts that may exceed eight hours. You should be comfortable with reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting items weighing up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Punctuality and consistent attendance are vital to the smooth operation of the team and client satisfaction.
