The Utility Worker position is based at Virginia Union University and is a full-time role with varying shifts that may include weekends and holidays. This role offers a pay range of $17 to $17.50 per hour. The Utility Worker supports kitchen and facility operations through maintaining cleanliness, sanitizing, and organizing food production and service areas. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage areas, as well as handling trash removal and supply restocking. The position requires physical activity such as walking, standing for extended periods, bending, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and general mobility to ensure all tasks are performed efficiently.
