The Utility Worker position at Sodexo, located at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, offers a part-time rotation shift with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. This role supports the essential kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within food production and service areas. As a critical member of the upkeep team, the Utility Worker is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces meet high standards of hygiene and safety. This involves washing dishes, cleaning worktables, refrigerators, and meat blocks, sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, restocking supplies, and assisting with basic setup and breakdown tasks as needed.

This position requires physical stamina and mobility, with responsibilities that include standing and walking for extended periods and frequently lifting items weighing up to 35 pounds or occasionally up to 50 pounds. The role demands a proactive and punctual work ethic, with the ability to adapt to varying shift schedules including days and hours, and open availability is preferred to meet operational needs. Job Requirements
