As a full-time Utility Worker based at UC Health Memorial Hospital Central, you will be an essential part of the Sodexo team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and hygiene of food production and service areas. This role offers an hourly pay range from $18.50 to $20.72, reflecting Sodexo's commitment to fair compensation and valuing its workforce. The position involves working varying shifts with an open availability preference to accommodate the dynamic needs of hospital food service operations.

Your daily responsibilities will include washing dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to uphold the highest sanitation standards. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and ensuring all trash and garbage are properly disposed of in designated areas will also be key tasks. In addition, you will clean kitchen equipment with specific chemicals, restock essential supplies such as soap and paper towels, and assist with the set-up and break-down of work areas as needed. Physical demands include significant walking or mobility, standing for extended periods potentially over 8 hours, and frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds with occasional lifting or moving of 50 pounds.
