Sodexo's Delta Sky Club at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is currently seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to join their team. This role is full-time with a pay rate of $21.85 per hour, offering a stable work schedule with open availability across any shift, providing flexibility for employees. The Utility Worker position plays a vital role in supporting the kitchen and facility operations by ensuring a clean, sanitized, and well-organized environment in food production and service areas. This role is essential for maintaining health and safety standards, which are critical in a fast-paced airport lounge setting where customer satisfaction and hygiene are paramount.

As a Utility Worker at Sodexo, your responsibilities will focus on maintaining cleanliness of equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage areas. You will be responsible for washing dishes either by hand or using industrial dishwashing machines, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, refrigerators, meat blocks, and handling trash removal. Additionally, you will re-stock necessary supplies like soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials, contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen and service areas. This role requires mobility, physical stamina, and the ability to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally lifting or moving 50 pounds.
