We are currently seeking motivated Utility Workers to join our team on either full-time or part-time shifts. As a Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our restaurant facilities inside the airport. This position is essential to creating a positive guest experience by ensuring that all work areas and dining spaces meet rigorous sanitary standards. Duties include cleaning floors, walls, windows, and kitchen equipment; removing refuse; clearing tables; washing dishes; and assisting with stock management. Utility Workers also help transport supplies and ensure that food items are properly stored and rotated.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable standing and working in confined spaces for extended periods and have some previous experience in retail or food service. Job Requirements

At least 18 years old
6 months experience working in retail or food service environment
high school diploma preferred
verbal and written communication skills
ability to read, speak, and understand English
experience in dealing with guest service problems
food handlers permit as required by law
brand certification as required
ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time

Job Duties

Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas
maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, storage areas
remove refuse to designated areas
clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning
scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans and wash them by hand or load dishwasher and return them to proper storage
clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards and possibly heavy equipment
assist all guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to server or supervisor
load and unload supply trucks transferring between storage and work areas
stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items
perform other duties as assigned
