The role of Utility Worker at Sodexo is a full-time position based at the Our Lady of the Lake location. The pay rate for this job is $14.50 per hour. Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- No related work experience required
- Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety concepts
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods
- Physical capability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Availability to work varying shifts and open availability preferred
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of sanitation procedures including basic concepts of food safety
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time

Job Duties
- Wash dishes by hand or place them in a dishwashing machine
- Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors
- Remove trash and garbage to designated areas
- Clean equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards
- Re-stock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials
- Assist with basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed
