As a Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in the daily maintenance of kitchen and related facilities. Responsibilities include washing dishes by hand or using dishwashers, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, and ensuring floors are swept, mopped, cleaned, and vacuumed to hospital standards. The job also involves the removal of trash and garbage to designated areas, cleaning equipment with appropriate chemicals, and restocking supplies such as soap and paper towels. This role requires substantial mobility throughout shifts, including walking, standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, emphasizing the physical nature of the position.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- No related work experience required
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work afternoon and evening shifts, including rotating weekends
