The Utility Worker position at Sodexo, located at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, is a part-time role paying $15.00 per hour. This role is vital in supporting kitchen and facility operations by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the food production and service areas. Utility Workers play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and efficient food environment by cleaning equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces. They are also responsible for transporting and storing supplies, assisting with set-up and break-down tasks, and other duties as directed by management.

This position requires flexibility as shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, varying days, and some weekends and holidays. The job involves significant physical activity, including walking or standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds, and performing various movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
