The Utility Worker position at MSOE is an essential role within Sodexo’s operations, focused on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and food service areas. This role offers both full-time and part-time employment options, providing flexibility for varied schedules. The hourly pay range is between $15 and $17, commensurate with experience and availability.
As a Utility Worker at Sodexo, you will be key to supporting the smooth running of kitchen and facility operations by ensuring that food production and service areas remain clean, sanitary, and well-organized. Your duties will include washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, cleaning floors and walls, handling trash disposal, and restocking cleaning supplies. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Additionally, you will assist with setup and breakdown activities as needed and respond flexibly to specific requirements based on the account and client needs.
This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in cleanliness and safety, have a keen eye for detail, and appreciate working as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
