As a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring all kitchen and dining areas maintain high sanitary standards by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces. Key tasks include washing dishes either by hand or using a dishwashing machine, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, removing trash, and restocking supplies like soap and paper towels. Additionally, the role requires physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items up to 50 pounds, and perform various movements such as bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. The position plays a critical role in supporting the overall food service operation by assisting with set-up and break-down tasks as needed.
