- Have at least a ninth grade education
- have a minimum of three months previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club setting preferred but will train
- restaurant or senior living or equivalent food service experience

Job Duties
- Sets up the dish and pot washing area
- prepares for dishwashing and washes pots, dishes and utensils
- distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils
- cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
- empties trash containers as required
- completes all assigned cleaning tasks
- maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work areas
- attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned
- performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies
- transports all clean and soiled linen to and from laundry
- food cart preparation including checking food temps, documenting temps, reheating food, and ensuring correct amount of food needed
