This community is built on West Texas values, the local Lubbock spirit, and a deep connection to Texas Tech, making it more than just a retirement location. Carillon Senior Living offers an all-inclusive lifestyle characterized by exceptional hospitality, vibrant social opportunities, and a warm, supportive environment for active older adults. Residents enjoy a community where they can build friendships, participate in rewarding activities, and live life to the fullest in a comfortable and welcoming setting. The organization values ongoing personal and professional development for its team members, providing continual training and career advancement opportunities that foster both individual growth and team success.

The Utility Technician role at Carillon Senior Living is an essential part of maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment within the community. This hourly position offers a wage range of $13 to $14 and involves a variable schedule that includes weekends and holidays, reflecting the nature of senior living hospitality, which requires consistent and flexible support. The utility technician primarily focuses on kitchen support activities such as dishwashing, pot washing, general cleaning, and maintaining proper storage for food and supplies. These duties are vital to keeping the community's food service running smoothly and in compliance with strict sanitation standards.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking a role that combines practical kitchen work with opportunities to contribute to a team committed to hospitality and quality service. Candidates will be trained on-site and are encouraged to grow professionally within the organization. The role requires a commitment to maintaining a sanitary work environment, attention to detail, and the ability to perform tasks under supervisory guidance. The utility technician also engages in food cart preparation tasks, including checking and documenting food temperatures, reheating food properly, and ensuring the correct quantity of food is ready for service. This variety of responsibilities demands an adaptable worker who values teamwork and contributes positively to the senior living experience.

Carillon Senior Living places a strong emphasis on hospitality values, encouraging employees to greet residents and coworkers warmly, treat everyone with respect, anticipate needs proactively, and maintain professionalism in every interaction. These promises underpin all service activities and reinforce a culture of care and respect that enhances the daily lives of residents. The Utility Technician not only supports the kitchen operations but also embodies this culture, helping to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that residents and staff appreciate.

If you are looking to join a thriving senior living community where your work directly impacts the well-being and happiness of others, this Utility Technician role offers a meaningful and engaging career path. The position comes with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off starting at 128 hours in the first year, tuition reimbursement, and access to a 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching. There are also opportunities for bonuses through referral programs and various insurance coverages to support you and your family. Carillon Senior Living's commitment to a supportive, engaging work environment makes it an excellent choice for individuals interested in hospitality and senior care careers.
