Hilton’s dedication to its core values and employee wellbeing has earned it repeated recognition on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune, making it not only a leader in hospitality but also an employer of choice.
The Utility Steward role at Hilton is an integral position within the Hotels team, focused on maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience. This role goes beyond routine cleaning tasks; it embodies the spirit of hospitality by contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and operational excellence of Hilton’s food and beverage services. Your duties will extend to maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness with tasks such as mopping floors and removing trash, which are essential to creating a safe and sanitary environment. Additionally, you will support the delivery of events by preparing and setting up clean serviceware for banquets and functions, playing a key role in successful hospitality events. A significant aspect of the role includes training and mentoring new stewards, sharing your expertise to foster team growth and enhance performance. Compliance with regulatory standards in health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness is paramount, ensuring the wellbeing of guests and team members alike.
Hilton’s commitment to its team members is evident through a comprehensive benefits package designed to support personal and professional growth. These benefits include incredible travel perks offering deeply discounted stays at Hilton properties, an employee stock purchase program to invest in Hilton shares, and paid parental leave recognizing the importance of family. Team members also have access to personalized caregiving support, crisis concierge services, mental health resources, generous paid time off, and a variety of health and welfare benefits covering everything from medical checkups to dental and vision care. Financial security is also prioritized through retirement plans that assist employees in planning their futures.
At Hilton, the core values that guide team members include a passion for hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a focus on the present moment to create meaningful impacts. These values foster a collaborative, respectful, and dynamic workplace culture where every team member is empowered to contribute to the company’s success and guest satisfaction. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to join a world-class brand dedicated to excellence and caring for its people, Hilton invites you to embark on a rewarding career as a Utility Steward, where your efforts will brighten the experiences of guests and the working environment of your team every day.
