Job Description

Hilton is an iconic leader in the global hospitality industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for guests around the world. With a legacy of welcoming over 3 billion guests to date, Hilton operates a suite of world-class brands that set the standard for innovative and warm hospitality. Known for its award-winning workplace culture, Hilton has been repeatedly recognized on the World's Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. This distinction is a testament to Hilton's commitment to not only guest satisfaction but also nurturing a rewarding and inclusive work environment for its employees.

As a Utility Steward at Hilton, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the immaculate standards that the brand is known for. Your responsibilities go beyond simply keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean; you contribute significantly to the overall guest experience by ensuring every touchpoint is spotless, organized, and welcoming. This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth operation of food service areas, setting the foundation for memorable dining and event experiences across the hotel.

In this position, you will be tasked with cleaning and maintaining all serviceware such as chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils. The role requires meticulous attention to detail as you scrub pots and pans and polish silver to a brilliant shine. Restocking supplies and keeping equipment well organized is also a key part of your duties, ensuring efficiency and readiness for service. On top of general kitchen upkeep—which includes mopping floors and removing trash—you will prepare serviceware for special events like banquets and functions, ensuring everything is pristine and perfectly arranged.

Moreover, as a Utility Steward at Hilton, you will have the opportunity to share your skills with new team members by providing training and mentorship. This collaborative aspect enriches team performance and fosters a supportive work culture aligned with Hilton values. Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations is a top priority, ensuring the well-being of both guests and colleagues.

Hilton’s core values are the guiding principles that shape the expectations for every team member in this role. They include a passion for hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, a strong sense of ownership, and agility in making impactful decisions. By embodying these values, you contribute not just to operational excellence but to crafting memorable guest experiences that define Hilton’s reputation worldwide.

Joining Hilton as a Utility Steward means becoming part of a dynamic and globally recognized hospitality family. Whether you are starting your career or looking to grow within the hospitality sector, Hilton offers unparalleled support, training, and growth opportunities. Your work here will be more than just a job; it will be a career filled with meaningful achievements and connections. Hilton invites you to be part of a workplace that shines as brightly as the service it delivers, helping make every guest’s stay truly exceptional.
