The primary responsibility of this role involves operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, such as dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors. The incumbent will wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment, ensuring that all wares are stored appropriately and cleaned per safety and sanitation standards. They will use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the three-compartment sink system to clean dishes thoroughly and inspect items to ensure cleanliness and quality before returning them to service. Sorting, soaking, washing, and re-washing silverware will be necessary duties, as well as managing waste disposal, including glass and recyclable materials.

Attentiveness to safety protocols and adherence to company policies are crucial in this position. The role requires maintaining positive working relationships with team members and supporting shared goals, ensuring company assets are protected, and demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
  • wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
