The position available is for an essential team member responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a luxury resort setting. The role primarily involves operating and maintaining kitchen cleaning equipment including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure all kitchenware, utensils, knives, equipment, and work areas are cleaned, disinfected, and stored in appropriate locations to meet high standards of hygiene. The employee will be responsible for using detergents and sanitizers properly in a three-compartment sink system, inspecting and managing cleaned and soiled items, and performing re-washing when necessary.

Beyond the kitchen, the role involves comprehensive cleaning duties such as mopping floors, disposing of waste materials including glass and recyclables correctly, and maintaining trashcans and dumpster areas.
