Job Requirements
- availability to work varied shifts including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- adherence to safety and sanitation protocols
- willingness to follow directions from culinary leadership
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- must be 18 years or older
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is beneficial
- knowledge of kitchen sanitation and hygiene practices
- ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, supplies, pots/pans, small wares, china, glass, and silver according to established safety standards and regulations
- operate dishwasher and other kitchen cleaning equipment
- cleans kitchen floors following standard procedures
- applies knowledge of safe use and storage of chemicals and equipment
- maintains and records data on required logs per company policies and procedures
- completes daily and weekly cleaning assignments per task lists
- regularly empties trash containers
- shifts and cleans garbage cans
- properly operates compactor
