The Stadium Utility Cleaner position is an entry-level role ideally suited for individuals seeking to start or restart their careers in facility maintenance with on-the-job training provided. Located at One Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the venue. The Utility Cleaner is responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks such as floor care, window cleaning, and handling different facility maintenance projects to ensure a welcoming and sanitary environment for all visitors and staff.

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $18.00 and flexibility with shifts available Monday through Friday, including 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, and 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. Occasional weekend work may be required, with advance notice provided to employees. The Stadium Utility Cleaner will operate various cleaning machines and equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers. They will perform duties such as bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning, cleaning interior and exterior windows and glass partitions, and safely using lift equipment for higher level cleaning. The role also requires adherence to safety and compliance standards and effective communication with team members and management.

This role does not require prior experience or formal educational credentials such as a high school diploma or GED. The ideal candidate should be at least 18 years of age, demonstrate reliability and attention to detail, and show a willingness to learn and perform physical tasks. Previous customer service experience and familiarity with floor care cleaning machines are preferred but not mandatory. ABM provides ongoing training and support to ensure all employees have the tools needed for success.
