Utility Porter - (Part Time) - GVR

The Utility Porter (Porter de mantenimiento) position is a crucial role within facilities management, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of designated areas. The individual will also be tasked with moving, rearranging, and relocating furniture and equipment as needed to support maintenance or cleaning activities. A deep knowledge of various flooring types—vinyl, concrete, stamped concrete, carpeted, and marble—is essential to carry out care and maintenance appropriately without causing damage.

An important aspect of this job is the ability to work safely with chemicals, cleansers, and solvents while adhering to OSHA safety codes related to chemicals and electrical equipment. Maintaining supply levels in porter closets, cleaning walls, ceilings, and vents, and performing any other related duties assigned are also key components of the position.

Candidates must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years and possess a valid Nevada driver’s license to fulfill transportation or operational duties effectively. The ability to interact courteously and positively with colleagues and other personnel is vital to sustaining a cooperative work environment.
