The Utility Person / Dishwasher plays a critical role within the restaurant team by ensuring cleanliness inside and outside the establishment, which is a key factor in guests' decisions to return. Key responsibilities include washing dishes and silverware to a high standard, cleaning dining areas, restrooms, and exterior spaces, and managing waste disposal effectively. Additionally, the Utility Person / Dishwasher supports the kitchen and dining staff by stocking necessary items such as glasses, silverware, and dishes to ensure seamless service. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide clean, sparkling silverware and dishes to guests
  • Clean the inside of the restaurant to ensure a pleasant and safe environment
  • Clean exterior areas including parking lots
  • Check, clean, and stock restrooms
  • Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of dumpsters and trash areas
  • Clean and organize utility areas thoroughly
  • Stock cook, line, and server areas with necessary items
  • Follow local health department laws and cleanliness standards
  • Report equipment and facility issues to management
  • Adhere to position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery
