The Utility Food Service Worker position at RWJ New Brunswick is a full-time, hourly role based at the Morris Cancer Center within the Dietary-Management department. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the food service operations by ensuring the hygienic handling, preparation, and delivery of food products in compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The shift for this role is in the evening from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, which includes working Monday through Friday, every other weekend, and designated holidays. The pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to offering competitive wages based on experience and qualifications.

The job responsibilities focus on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the food service department. Key functions include loading and transporting food trucks, washing dishes, removing garbage, and generally supporting the dietary team to uphold the highest standards of hygiene. The role requires strict adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) food handling policies and procedures to ensure all cold food products are maintained at 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below, and that food temperatures are properly monitored and recorded.
