The company operates a variety of establishments within airports, offering guests a taste of place while ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety, and service. SSP America values diversity and inclusion and provides a supportive work environment that values growth, advancement, and employee well-being.

This role is a Utility/Dishwasher position within SSP's dynamic restaurant operations at Dallas (DAL) Airport, an essential function responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant environment. Whether working full-time or part-time, employees in this role contribute significantly to the overall guest experience by ensuring hygienic workstations, spotless dining areas, and properly cleaned dishware and equipment. The position offers a competitive starting wage of $18 per hour and includes several employee benefits such as medical plan options for employees and their dependents, dental and vision insurance, and voluntary plan coverages. Employees benefit from free parking and meal provisions, along with opportunities for career advancement within the company.

The Utility/Dishwasher is tasked with keeping all surfaces—ranging from floors and walls to kitchen equipment and dining counters—immaculate and sanitized, directly contributing to an inviting atmosphere for guests and a safe, compliant workplace. They support restaurant operations by handling refuse disposal, clearing and resetting tables, washing dishes both manually and with dishwashing equipment, and maintaining stock levels with proper food rotation and temperature checks. This role also requires assisting guests with special requests, loading and unloading supply trucks, and performing any additional duties as assigned to ensure seamless restaurant operations.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old, ideally possess a high school diploma, and have a minimum of six months experience in a retail or food service environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with guests, peers, and supervisors. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid food handler's permit as required by law and demonstrate the ability to stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, and maintain rigorous standards of sanitation using specific chemicals and equipment.

Joining SSP America means becoming part of an inclusive workforce that respects and values all individuals regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, age, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. The company also provides reasonable accommodations during the application and interview process to ensure equal opportunity for all candidates. For individuals passionate about hospitality, cleanliness, and providing unforgettable guest experiences in a fast-paced airport environment, this Utility/Dishwasher role offers a rewarding career path with competitive pay and meaningful benefits.
