The Class B Driver (Utility Driver) position, located in Wichita, KS, or Tulsa, OK, offers a high-paying salary with travel perks. This role provides primary route coverage for the assigned district and supports other districts as needed for vacation, sick leave, and turnover. Operators in this role will handle various Class B trucks including Tanker Trucks, Box Trucks, and Lube Delivery Trucks. The position requires travel for up to three weeks out of the month, with guaranteed weekends off and home time approximately one week per month. Drivers also gain sales bonus access and the opportunity to support multiple branches, helping foster a varied and flexible work schedule.

This role prioritizes safety above all else, requiring strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and compliance with local, state, provincial, and federal regulations. Operators are responsible for ensuring vehicle placarding meets DOT and company standards, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and contributing to high customer satisfaction at all times. The position also involves loading and unloading trucks and, at times, assisting field laborers within a team-oriented atmosphere. Drivers may occasionally serve as backup for routes across the region, ensuring operational continuity. The role may demand readiness for emergency response on a rotating basis and specialized tasks such as site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling depending on position requirements.

Clean Harbors offers a comprehensive employment experience featuring company-paid training, tuition reimbursement, health benefits starting after 30 days of full-time employment, 401(k) with company match, stock purchase plans, and opportunities for career growth and advancement. The expected first-year income ranges between $70,000 and $85,000, with potential earnings over $85,000 in the second year depending on experience and performance. This position is suited to individuals who value safety, sustainability, travel, and diverse hands-on work, with a company culture deeply invested in supporting employee development and environmental stewardship.
