Job Description

Our company is a leading provider in the concrete supply industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality concrete products to a diverse customer base. Operating multiple types of heavy equipment, including Concrete Mixer Trucks, Dump Trucks, Tankers, and Quads, we pride ourselves on safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service. Committed to compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, our team fosters a professional environment where safety and quality are paramount.

The role of Utility Driver is critical in supporting our operations by safely operating various heavy vehicles to deliver concrete products on time and to the highest standards. As a Utility Driver, you will be responsible for the operation of concrete mixer trucks alongside other specialized vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance in all activities. This role demands a hands-on approach where you will not only drive and deliver concrete but also perform routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicles to guarantee optimal performance and timely service delivery.

In your daily functions, you'll meticulously carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections in line with DOT requirements, ensuring every vehicle under your care is roadworthy and safe. Accurate completion of driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) is vital to maintaining the integrity and safety standards expected. Beyond the drivers' duties, you will also coordinate with plant managers and quality technicians to ensure that the product meets and exceeds quality expectations.

Your role will also extend to plant maintenance activities and housekeeping duties when required, supporting the overall operational efficiency of our concrete production facilities. Your proactive and positive attitude in interacting with customers and internal teams will reflect our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

This full-time position requires physical endurance and aptitude, as many tasks involve manual handling, climbing, and operating equipment for extended periods. Candidates will need to manage physical demands such as lifting heavy loads, maneuvering around equipment, and maintaining vigilance in dynamic environments. The ideal Utility Driver is professional, punctual, safety-conscious, and dedicated to delivering excellent service with a focus on compliance and quality standards.

Joining our company as a Utility Driver offers the opportunity to be part of a well-established, safety-focused organization that values its employees and customers alike. We offer a stable work environment where your skills and dedication are recognized and contribute directly to our operational success and customer satisfaction. If you are a CDL Class A licensed driver with a passion for safety and quality in concrete delivery, this role is designed to provide you with fulfilling and rewarding career advancement opportunities.
