Job Duties
- Washes and sanitizes all dishes, pots and pans, food carts, and food preparation equipment
- Empties kitchen garbage/trash and sanitizes containers as needed
- Sweeps, mops, and foams kitchen floors
- Maintains cleanliness of all walls in kitchen and serving areas
- Maintains cleanliness of all floor mats
- Transports food carts to satellite dining rooms throughout the facility
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all food carts
- Maintains a clean and organized dish room
- Performs regular cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment including ovens and ranges
- Assists in moving heavy equipment and furniture when needed
- Assists in setting up buffets and special functions events
- Acts as runner backing up food trays and dishes for buffets and special event functions
- Assists in kitchen when necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
