Job Requirements

Minimum six months experience working in retail or food service environment
high school diploma preferred
verbal and written communication
must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and receive instructions
experience in dealing with problems involving guest service
food handlers permit as required by law
brand certification as required
ability to stand and work in confined spaces
ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance
ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
capable of performing tasks in varying temperatures including cold storage areas

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Inspect and verify incoming shipments for quality and accuracy
document discrepancies
organize and store stock in designated areas ensuring proper labeling and FIFO procedures
monitor stock for expiration dates and minimize waste through proper storage and rotation practices
work closely with kitchen and service staff to forecast needs and ensure timely restocking
follow all health and safety regulations regarding food storage and handling
