SSP America's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has made it a recognized leader in the food service industry in high-traffic locations such as airports. Their teams work diligently to ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and enjoyable dining experience, owing to meticulous attention to food safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards.

At SSP America, the Utility role is fundamental to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of all its restaurant units. Utilities ensure that restaurants operate in hygienic environments by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and dining areas to meet strict health standards. This position is a full-time role, with an hourly wage of $23.40, offering full benefits and an employee assistance program, reflecting the company's dedication to supporting its workforce comprehensively. SSP America is currently hiring for this role immediately and offers opportunities for growth to motivate and retain their employees.

The Utility team members at SSP America create a positive guest experience by maintaining hygienic work areas and ensuring cleanliness throughout all restaurant facilities. Their duties include cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, windows, worktables, kitchen equipment such as grills and hoods, and service counters. They also manage refuse removal, table clearing, resetting between seatings, dishwashing, and handling chemical cleaning agents safely. This job requires cooperation with servers and supervisors to address guest requests and special needs promptly. Additionally, Utilities assist with stock management by loading and unloading supply trucks, rotating food stock, and checking temperatures to maintain food safety standards.

This role demands physical stamina, as employees must be capable of standing for long periods and working in confined spaces. SSP America values candidates who have experience in retail or food service environments, possess good communication skills, and have the ability to interact effectively with guests. The work environment is fast-paced and customer-focused, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in ensuring clean and safe dining spaces and enjoy being part of a dedicated team.

SSP America's Utility position not only offers competitive compensation but also provides numerous work benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, paid holidays, sick leave, meal discounts, and additional medical leave options. These benefits are designed to promote employee well-being and work-life balance, supporting their career development and long-term employment satisfaction.
