Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 30 pounds frequently
- ability to bend, stoop, crawl, reach, climb ladders or step stools
- willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- ability to follow safety procedures and use company authorized cleaning agents
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- dependable, able to maintain regular attendance
- ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery and enter restricted areas
Job Qualifications
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
- prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- prior retail/wholesale experience preferred
- may be less than 18 years old to perform parking lot cart functions
- must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas
Job Duties
- Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance
- maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members
- maintain cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms, outdoor grounds, and parking lot
- gather and return carts and flatbeds from parking lot to club entrance
- remove trash and debris from parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior
- ensure carts are well-stocked, clean, and in working order
- remove unusable carts
- return new and unused merchandise to sales floor
- perform maintenance and cleaning duties such as wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, and emptying trash receptacles
- maintain outdoor grounds including cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor trash receptacles
- prioritize maintenance and cleaning efficiently
- operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler safely
- restock maintenance/cleaning supplies and keep supply areas organized
- perform minor building repairs and notify management of major repairs
- adhere to club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
