The role of a Utility Cleaner at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta is a vital non-management position within the Food and Beverage and Culinary departments, focusing on maintaining cleanliness and supporting numerous hotel functions. Working full-time and onsite, Utility Cleaners contribute significantly to the smooth operational flow of the hotel by handling essential cleaning tasks across departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. Their responsibilities encompass a broad range of activities, including preparing fresh linens, ensuring clean dining ware for guests, operating and maintaining various cleaning equipment like dishwashing machines and linen washers and dryers, and facilitating the transport of dishware and linens throughout the facility. This role requires a professional approach to appearance, communication, and adherence to company standards and policies to maintain the highest quality expectations.
