The Utility Cleaner role at JW Marriott is an integral position that supports multiple hotel functions to ensure guests receive an outstanding experience. This role involves working across departments such as the kitchen, food and beverage areas, and laundry to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency. Utility Cleaners are responsible for preparing fresh linens, managing spotless dishware, operating cleaning equipment like dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, and linen washers and dryers, and transporting items throughout the hotel. The position contributes to the overall quality standards by maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols within various areas of the hotel. In addition to physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 50 pounds, the role requires standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, as well as performing various motions like bending, twisting, and stooping.
