Known for serving high-quality and flavorful tacos, Torchy’s has built a solid reputation for delivering an exceptional dining experience in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The company prides itself on maintaining a team-oriented culture where every employee plays a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant. Torchy’s commitment to quality food and a positive work environment has made it a preferred dining destination and employer in the fast-casual restaurant industry.

The Utility Team Member role at Torchy’s is essential in supporting the restaurant’s daily operations by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and an inviting environment throughout the establishment. This position combines responsibilities typically assigned to bussers and dishwashers, making it a versatile and dynamic part of the restaurant team. This role is key to helping the kitchen function efficiently and providing a safe and pleasant setting for customers and staff alike.

Employed on a flexible schedule basis, the Utility Team Member position at Torchy’s offers an hourly wage ranging from $12 to $13, depending on experience, in addition to a tip-sharing program that enhances overall compensation. The position requires physical stamina as it entails standing for extended periods, frequent bending, lifting, and reaching. Torchy’s values employees who are proactive in maintaining the restaurant’s appearance, supporting the service staff, and pitching in wherever necessary to keep operations seamless.

As part of the team, members receive a Damn Good Food discount card valid for both the employee and their spouse, making it a great perk for those who enjoy Torchy’s signature dishes. After one year of full-time employment, team members gain access to comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as paid time off. Additionally, Torchy’s offers a 401(k) retirement plan eligibility after six months, contributing to the long-term financial well-being of its employees. The company also fosters a strong community within its workforce through the Torchy’s Family Foundation, which supports team members facing emergencies or hardships.

Overall, working as a Utility Team Member at Torchy’s is ideal for individuals seeking a lively work environment with room for personal growth and development in the hospitality industry.
