The company's commitment to its employees is palpable, supporting them with competitive wages, robust benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Working with HMSHost means more than just serving food and beverage — it means being an ambassador for the local community and helping travelers feel good on the move.
The Utility Associate role at HMSHost is a vital position focused on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency across the company's dining facilities. This non-exempt position pays between $18.00 and $18.50 per hour and offers a generous benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, meal and transportation benefits, retirement savings plans with company match, and various employee support programs such as tuition reimbursement and career training.
In this role, the Utility Associate performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks critical to ensuring sanitary conditions and a pleasant dining environment. The role demands physical activity such as bending, twisting, standing, and lifting items up to 40 pounds, and candidates should be capable of handling these physical tasks regularly.
Beyond physical duties, the position requires strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude since the Utility Associate will interact with the public and coworkers.
