High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Availability to work scheduled shifts
Ability to follow instructions accurately

Must be able to use cleaning chemicals safely

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or kitchen utility roles beneficial
Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
Basic knowledge of sanitation and hygiene standards
Good communication skills to assist guests and coordinate with teammates
Ability to follow safety and chemical handling protocols
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Job Duties

Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas
Maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, storage areas
Remove refuse to designated areas
Clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings as needed and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning
Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans and wash them by hand or load dishwasher and return them to their proper storage place
Clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards which may include the use of heavy equipment
Assist all guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to server or supervisor
Load and unload supply trucks transferring between storage and work areas
Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items
Other duties as assigned
