The role of On-field Host and Entertainment Performer for the Winston-Salem Dash is an exciting seasonal position designed for energetic individuals who thrive in high-energy, audience-facing roles. This part-time position requires employees to transform into a mutually agreed-upon character and fully engage with game day attendees to elevate the fan experience. The position spans from the beginning of April through mid-September, covering the baseball season with hours primarily in the late afternoons and evenings on game days. The job also involves working during non-game days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, emphasizing flexibility and commitment.

This job is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about performance, improvisation, and fan interaction. Candidates will be responsible for assisting the Master of Ceremonies by delivering entertaining content according to the game's script and helping to co-host on-field promotions. Creativity plays a vital role, as employees are encouraged to develop character bits and participate fully in theme nights and team promotions. Working knowledge of Truist Stadium and its operations is essential to ensure a smooth and safe game day experience. Furthermore, the on-field host must rehearse necessary contests and coordinate with various departments to deliver a professional and world-class entertainment show.

The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and move quickly around the ballpark.
