Esri is a global leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology, committed to innovation, diversity, and creating positive global change through its products and services. Established as a pioneer in spatial analytics and mapping software, Esri supports organizations worldwide in solving complex challenges, improving decisions, and connecting with their environment through the power of location intelligence. Esri's philosophy embraces a diverse workforce that reflects varying experiences, perspectives, and cultures, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace where every employee can contribute their best work. The company is dedicated to ongoing learning, growth, and change, promoting equity and social justice both internally and across the communities it serves. Esri actively encourages applications from all qualified individuals and provides reasonable accommodations during recruitment processes to uphold equal employment opportunities.
This specific opportunity invites individuals to join Esri’s events marketing warehouse team to support the annual Esri User Conference (UC), the largest gathering of GIS professionals worldwide. In this warehouse role, employees will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of event logistics through material handling, order preparation, and freight management. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, checking inventory, preparing and staging outbound freight, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Familiarity with warehouse logistics and basic computer skills, particularly in using MS Office applications, further support success in this position. Employment for this role is onsite, with competitive compensation at approximately $20 per hour reflecting experience and education. Though visa sponsorship is not available, Esri offers benefits like 401(k) and profit sharing to eligible employees, contributing to a rewarding career experience beyond just the salary. This position offers active involvement in a dynamic event environment that supports Esri’s mission of empowering communities worldwide through innovative GIS technology.
