The Senior Meat Cutter position at Sam's Club is a pivotal role responsible for enhancing the member shopping experience through expert knowledge and quality meat product preparation. This role requires close collaboration with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure that the meat department meets high standards of service, product freshness, and safety. Senior Meat Cutters maintain an in-depth understanding of various meat products, their seasonality, and processing techniques including cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping. Acting as a talent ambassador, the role involves mentoring and training associates, fostering a positive team culture, and modeling high standards for service excellence. Sam’s Club offers competitive pay ranging between $21.00 and $29.00 per hour, with potential for performance-based bonuses and additional premiums depending on schedule and work location. This full-time opportunity also includes paid time off, insurance benefits, and access to the Live Better U education program that supports continued learning and degree attainment.
