Working collaboratively with other team leaders and third-party partners, the Department Lead ensures seamless operations by managing daily business goals, staffing, inventory, product training, sanitation, and compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
6 months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team
Ability to complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
Must comply with company drug-free workplace policy
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and third parties
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage time and resources effectively

Job Duties

Supervises the team within all prepared foods departments facilitating rotations through fresh areas and managing member needs to deliver on the business plan and contribute to club success
Maintains in-depth knowledge of business on the floor and backroom operations ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance standards are met
Manages seasonality in production by understanding new products, recipes, processes, and production specifications prioritizing time efficiently
Collaborates with associates and third parties to provide resources needed for effective job performance and shares knowledge and training
Utilizes digital tools and handheld technology to plan and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement
Drives business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence, staffing levels, audit compliance, merchandise display, and operational continuity
Identifies training needs, develops team skills, encourages career growth, and sources new talent internally and externally
Develops processes and practices by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and business partners monitoring progress and addressing improvements
Demonstrates and supports compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity by guiding and assisting management with corrective actions
