Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
  • Ability to complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
  • Willingness to work in a retail food environment
  • Ability to follow company policies and drug-free workplace guidelines
  • Physical ability to perform duties in prepared foods department
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 6 months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team
  • Supervising a team is preferred
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to use digital tools and technology for business operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments by facilitating rotations and managing member needs to deliver on the business plan
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of business operations ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety and compliance
  • Manage seasonality in production, prioritize resources and train associates on new products and processes
  • Leverage digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, improve customer experience and drive associate engagement
  • Drive business results by maintaining operational excellence, appropriate staffing, accurate audits, compliance standards and merchandise display
  • Train and develop team members, identify training needs and encourage career growth
  • Foster a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion and teamwork while acting in alignment with company values and policies
