This particular role is focused on facility support within Walmart's Plainfield, Indiana location. The position primarily involves maintaining clean, safe, and efficient facilities to ensure a positive and productive environment for associates, customers, and visitors. As a member of the facility services team, the individual will be responsible for setting up rooms for special events, performing minor maintenance and repairs, managing recycling processes, and addressing facility issues promptly to management. The role requires hands-on duties such as cleaning offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, and common areas in adherence with company safety procedures and federal, state, and local regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.

Key responsibilities extend beyond cleaning and maintenance, encouraging a proactive approach towards facility management. This includes disassembling and cleaning drug dispensers, dusting, sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing floors, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms and electronic devices.
