Job Qualifications
- Six months' experience in fresh production area
- must be 18 years of age or older
- knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
- ability to use decorating bags, tips, and nozzles
- understanding of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- familiarity with inventory management and cold chain compliance
- teamwork and communication skills
- ability to operate bakery equipment
- comfort with digital tools and technology
- commitment to company policies and customer service excellence
Job Duties
- Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools tasks and resources
- communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service
- maintains instock levels and controls shrinkage
- plans bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- operates, maintains and sanitizes equipment following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- leverages digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- drives bakery area performance by ensuring quality and date control, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events
- assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves concerns
- adheres to company policies and standards of ethics and integrity
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers and customers
- embraces diversity and fosters a culture of belonging
- builds strong and trusting relationships with associates
- maintains highest standards of integrity and compliance
