The role of a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club involves creating visually appealing and delicious bakery items that enhance the member experience. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will help foster a customer-focused environment by educating and supporting fellow associates. Leveraging digital tools and handheld technology, you will contribute to business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality improvements. This role demands flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meet the seasonal demands and member preferences effectively. Additionally, you will take ownership of the bakery area’s performance by controlling waste, managing quality and date control standards, and assisting members with their purchasing decisions.
