Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
- must be 18 years of age or older
- successful completion of all job required training and assessments within prescribed time
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift bakery products
- commitment to maintain a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 6 months experience in fresh production bakery area
- ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- experience with cake decorating techniques such as using decorating bags, tips, and nozzles
- knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cold chain compliance
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- ability to use digital tools and handheld technology
- strong customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support bakery operations
- educates associates on tools, tasks, and customer service
- maintains in-stock levels and controls shrinkage
- plans bakery production ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- follows recipe measurements and food safety standards
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- leverages digital tools and handheld technology to improve sales and business decisions
- prepares for seasonal events and manages inventory accordingly
- assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves their issues
- models high-quality service and supports team development
- complies with company policies and ethics
- completes work assignments using data and resources
- fosters an inclusive and respectful work culture
- maintains integrity and accountability
