As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will play a pivotal role in producing beautiful, delicious bakery items that meet strict quality standards and member preferences. Responsibilities include planning bakery production schedules to ensure consistent quality and artistic presentation, following precise recipes and decoration techniques, and maintaining inventory and sanitation standards. Your expertise will ensure that all decorative designs—from intricate flowers to elegant lettering—are executed flawlessly using specialized tools such as decorating bags, tips, and nozzles.
The role also entails leveraging digital tools and hand-held technology to make informed decisions related to production and merchandise management, a key factor in enhancing the shopping experience for members. You will be instrumental in assisting members with their purchasing decisions, responding to inquiries, and addressing any concerns related to bakery products. Additionally, you will help prepare for special seasonal events that generate increased bakery demand, such as graduations and holidays.
