Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
- Ability to complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
- Commitment to a drug-free workplace
- Must comply with all company policies regarding safety, sanitation, and ethical conduct
- Willingness to work collaboratively and support Walmart's values and business goals
- Ability to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays as required
- Physical ability to perform bakery department tasks including lifting, standing, and manual dexterity
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively.
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
- Knowledge of bakery production including decorating preferred
- Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) preferred
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Competence in using digital tools for business operations
- Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Supervises the team within the Bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club
- Communicates the goals of the department
- Executes company programs
- Adheres to policies and advocates for the member, associate, and the company
- Works collaboratively with other team leaders
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of bakery business operations, backroom functions, product specifications and seasonality
- Ensures compliance with company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, equipment use, safety, sanitation, and compliance
- Shares knowledge and trains the team
- Equips team members with necessary tools
- Leverages digital tools and technology
- Makes immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- Drives business results and commitment to operational excellence
- Maintains neat, clean, and safe work areas
- Plans and staffs for weekly bakery volumes
