The role of Labor Planning Analyst is based within Factor, a distinct brand under the HelloFresh umbrella. This position is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and capacity in a high-growth environment, particularly within the U.S. distribution centers. The Labor Planning team ensures the precise forecasting and staffing necessary to meet customer demand while balancing cost and staff experience. This is a hybrid day-shift role, offering flexibility to work Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to improve planning accuracy and operational outcomes.

As a Labor Planning Analyst, you will partner closely with other planning team members to validate labor plans and enhance their accuracy. You'll be responsible for driving improvements in headcount planning, attrition analysis, scheduling, and cohort balancing, leveraging data to fine-tune labor management functions. The role demands a proactive approach in tracking progress against labor plans, identifying deviations, and conducting root cause analyses. Additionally, you will serve as a critical liaison between the planning team and data/engineering teams, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into technical solutions and that tools and processes continuously evolve to meet operational demands.

The successful applicant will own the short-term labor planning to optimize staffing across operational sites, aiming to balance cost-effectiveness with a positive employee experience. This position requires advanced skills in spreadsheet management, data querying (SQL), data visualization (Tableau), and statistical analysis, including forecasting techniques. Familiarity with unstructured data analysis and workflow automation using AI tools like Gemini is highly beneficial. Candidates should have experience working in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment, accompanied by strong project management and communication skills.
